Bolex D8L cameras use 16 mm wide film which is run 25 feet one direction filming the 8 mm image on one side of 16 mm film, and then it's removed and the film is installed upside down to run another 25 feet on the other side.
The processed film is then slit down the middle and cemented together for about 50 finished feet which will run about 3 minutes at 18 FPS.
