Bring It On (2000) is a film about two competing high school cheerleading squads, starring Kirsten Dunst, Eliza Dushku, Jesse Bradford, and Gabrielle Union. It was directed by Peyton Reed and written by Jessica Bendinger.
The film was followed by three straight to video sequels, 2004's Bring It On Again (which only shared producers with the original), 2006's Bring It On: All or Nothing and Bring It On: In It to Win It, which was released December 18, 2007.
PLOT:
The Toro cheerleading squad from Rancho Carne High School in San Diego has got spirit, spunk, sass and a killer routine that's sure to land them the national championship trophy for the sixth year in a row. But for newly-elected team captain Torrance, the Toros' road to total cheer glory takes a shady turn when she discovers that their perfectly-choreographed routines were in fact stolen from the Clovers, a hip-hop squad from East Compton, by the Toro's former captain.
While the Toros scramble to come up with a new routine, the Clovers, led by squad captain Isis have their own problems - coming up with enough money to cover their travel expenses to the championships.
With time running out and the pressure mounting, both captains drive their squads to the point of exhaustion: Torrance, hell bent on saving the Toros' reputation, and Isis more determined than ever to see that the Clovers finally get the recognition that they deserve. But only one team can bring home the title, so may the best moves win.

BIOGRAPHY OF JESSE BRADFORD:
Early life:
Jesse Bradford was born in Norwalk, Connecticut, the only child of actors Terry Porter and Curt (or Kurt) Bradford-Watrouse, who appeared in commercials, soap operas, and industrial films. His mother also played his character's mother in Hackers (1995). Bradford's cousins are Jonathan Svec (a member of the bands Splender and Edison) and Sarah Messer, a writer and poet. He began acting at the age of eight months, appearing in a Q-Tip commercial. At his parents' encouragement, Bradford began modeling and auditioning for acting roles; his first film appearance was as Robert De Niro's son in Falling in Love (1984). He graduated from Brien McMahon High School, where he was a self-described geology nerd. He was Homecoming King, captain of the tennis team, and was voted "best looking" and "favorite actor" by his high school class (although he wasn't in the drama club).[1] He went on to attend Columbia University, and graduated with a degree in film in 2002.
Career:
As a child actor, Bradford starred in the well-reviewed films Presumed Innocent (1990) King of the Hill (1993) and Far From Home (1995). Subsequently, he has had several notable roles in motion pictures, including Romeo + Juliet (1996) and the cult hit Bring It On (2000), playing the romantic interest. In 2002, he appeared as the lead in two major films - Clockstoppers and Swimfan.
He has also had a minor role as White House intern Ryan Pierce for nine episodes during the fifth season of The West Wing.
Bradford more recently played the role of Rene Gagnon in the 2006 film Flags of Our Fathers, based on the book of the same name by James Bradley.
The film is about the battle of Iwo Jima and was directed by Academy Award-winning director Clint Eastwood. Most recently, Bradford has been cast as one of the leads in I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, based on Tucker Max's best-selling book.
He is also a co-owner of the Semi-Private NY Nightclub The Plumm, along with Chris Noth, Samantha Ronson, and Noel Ashman, among others.
TRIVIA:
During the filming of the scene when Torrance, Missy, Jan and Les carpool to a football game, a driver, angry that the film's motorcade was making him late for dinner, attempted to drive the camera truck off the road. It appears the character of Les is just an overly cautious driver who keeps checking his side mirrors. Huntley Ritter is really watching Mr. Road Rage get pulled over by the Highway Patrol.
The Advanced Chemistry textbook that Cliff is studying is not a real book at all. The PHD writer is actually the Assistant Propmaster's name. Though not real, the book is credited at the end of the film as an actual book that was cleared for use.
Many of the stunts performed by the teams in the national competition, including all stunts more than two bodies high, the fly-overs, and the basket-tosses with head-over-heels rotation, are illegal at the high school level according to the National Federation Interscholastic Spirit Association.
The vintage rock t-shirts that Cliff wears throughout the film are from director Peyton Reed's extensive collection.
As seen in the movie trailer, additional scenes showing Isis' personal and school life were shot, even giving her a boyfriend, but were eventually cut from the film.
The very last scene to be filmed was the toothbrush flirting scene with Jesse Bradford and Kirsten Dunst.
